Planning & Zoning Meeting
November 14, 2020
The Planning & Zoning meeting was called to order at 9:04 AM with Adam Ostert presiding. The meeting was held via Zoom due to Covid-19 pandemic social distancing requirements.
Present at Roll Call: Tom Burke, Kim Olmstead, Kirk Sheehy, and Adam Ostert. Members absent: Nellie Corning, Jason Suckut, and Ashley Neff.
Other’s present: City Attorney Mark Powell, City Engineer Perry Gjersvik, Mayor Tom Brown and Tiger Run Developer Jason Springer.
Adam Ostert began the meeting by stating that there was an inaccurate code reference had been referenced in the City Engineer – Perry Gjersvik plat review memo. Mr. Gjersvik will update the memo with the correct code information so the document can be distributed at the City Council meeting on November 16, 2020.
After confirming that all members present had been able to review the final plat information, Ostert stated that the review of the final plat met all of the requirements of the Madrid Code of Ordinances 6-18-9 and asked if there were any comments. City Attorney Powell stated that any recommendation should be contingent upon the developers obtaining a surety bond as documented in City Engineer Gjersvik’s final plat review memo.
Motion by P&Z Member Sheehy, seconded by P&Z Member Burke to recommend approval of the final plat contingent upon the developers obtaining a surety bond to the City Council.
Ayes: Ostert, Sheehy, Burke, Olmstead Motion Carried
Ostert will present the recommendation for approval to the City Council at their Zoom meeting on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 5:30 pm.
Motion by P&Z Member Burke, seconded by P&Z Member Olmstead to adjourn the meeting at 9:11 am.
