New Utility Rates as of July 1, 2018

Effective with the July 1st billing, the City Council approved a rate increase for both water and sewer.  State codes require that water and sewer utilities be self-sustaining and all revenue must be adequate for normal maintenance, repairs, and supplies.  Our old rates were not self-sustaining for either the water plant or the sewer plant. The rate increases are as follows:

Water Service (WA): $13.75 for the first 1,000 gallons of water used and $5.57 per thousand gallons used thereafter.

Sewer Service (SW): $12.81 for the first 1,000 gallons of water used and $4.41 per thousand gallons of used thereafter.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact City Hall with your concerns.
