Officer assisted Labor Day staff with moving cars off of the parade route.

Officer was dispatched to a call of dispute at 1st and State.  Officer spoke with the residents and advised a solution for the remainder of the Labor Day Celebration.

Officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident, in the 100 Block of South Kennedy Ave.  Officer did a vehicle exchange of information for both drivers.

Officer took a report of two run-away children from Ames.

Officer performed a vehicle unlock for a resident at Edgewood Park.


Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Boone Co. Ambulance with an emergent medical call at Madrid Home.

Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Boone Co. Ambulance with a medical call in the 600 block of S. Green street.

Officer released bike that was impounded on Sept 1st during the car show.

Officer fingerprinted a resident for an employment background check.

Officer assisted in issuing a gas voucher to a subject for the Evangelical Free Church.

Officer spoke to a resident about a civil matter.


Officer received information of a recovered stolen vehicle. Officer attempted to call the owner but could not reach him on the phone. Officer attempted to locate the owner at his residence with no luck. Vehicle was taken to Central Iowa Towing in Ames.

Officer received a call from a resident about kittens under her porch. Officer called Boone County Animal Rescue and left a message waiting for return call.

Officer spoke with Madrid resident about ongoing land dispute between neighbors.

Officer responded to a residence on Jonathon Drive reference a family dispute.


Officer followed up with the towing company reference a previous recovered stolen vehicle case.

Officer assisted a subject regarding a food/fuel voucher from the E-free church.

Officer attended City Council meeting.

Officer responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 300 Block of North Walnut.  No injuries.

Officer took an informational report regarding juvenile behavior, per DHS request.

Officer responded to a medical call in 500 Block of Kingman.  Officer assisted EMS.


Officer was requested for a civil stand-by in the 300 block of N. Water Street.

Officer fingerprinted a resident for a real estate license background check.

Officer followed up on a domestic call from last week.

Officer worked with a resident reference family issues and an unwanted subject at the residence. Officer issued a trespassing warning to them.
