Officer took a complaint regarding junk and trash on South Union Street. Officer will follow up with the appropriate people.

Officer stopped out at Dollar General for a donation of Christmas gifts.


Officer spoke to a Madrid resident, reference possible problems after school with his ex-wife, at children pick-up time.  Officer stated that he would be in the area and to call if there were any issues.

Officer followed up on an ordinance violation on County Line Road.  Officer took several pictures that will be used in the service of an abatement notice.

Officer was called to the 900 block of South Kennedy Avenue, for a subject riding an ATV, since 4:30am this morning.  Officer made contact with the male, who was identified as Jeremy Embrey.  A check of the Polaris RZR, showed that it was stolen from Dallas County.  A Dallas County detective came to the scene and took the vehicle into custody.  Embrey was arrested for possession of stolen property, valued at over $10,000, a Class C felony.  He was transported to the Boone County Jail where he was held.

Officer received a noise complaint in the 500 block of South Main. Officer was unable to locate where the noise was coming from.


Officer received a call from a Madrid resident, reference a lost/stolen wallet.  He stated that he thinks someone entered his vehicle on West 22nd Street. Nothing else was missing and the wallet had no cash in it.  Officers will be on the look-out so if located, it can be returned to its owner.  Officer received a call later in the day and the subject had located his wallet.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference a lost/found dog at 1st and State Street.  Business owner called the Boone Area Humane Society and the dog was picked up.

Officer served a notice of abatement to the owner of a property on County Line Road.  The notice gives the owner 90 days to clean up the property or have legal action taken against him.

Officer performed a vehicle unlock in the 600 block of S Greene St.


Officer performed a traffic stop at East North and Green Street. Officer issued a citation for speeding to the driver.

Officer performed a traffic stop in the Casey’s parking lot for speeding on E. North St.


Officer received a noise complaint on Washington Street. Officer advised the residents to keep the music down.

Officer assisted with a medical call at the Madrid Home.


Officer unlocked a vehicle at Casey’s.

Officer received a noise complaint on West 2nd Street.


A Madrid resident brought a dog into the police department. Officer was able to return the dog to her home.
