Officer received a call of possible drug activity in the 200 Block of South Greene Street.

Officer received a call of a deer that had been struck and inured, in the North ditch of Highway 210, at the bike trail crossing.  Officer passed the information onto dispatch for a Deputy to respond.

Officer spoke to a Sergeant in the United States Army reference a background check on a past Madrid resident.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference a court case dealing with a no contact order.

Officer performed a vehicle unlock at Casey’s.

Officer was called to the 200 Block of South Main Street for an accident.  A fork lift owned by Wilcox Printing, struck a parked car, doing minor damage.  Officer created a call for service.

Officer spoke to a subject regarding a family dispute with a juvenile.

Officer responded to a medical call in the 300 block of N. Market Street.  The patient was treated and transported.

Officer responded to a report of a subject with a flashlight looking into vehicles.  It was determined to be a family member after dark retrieving an item from their vehicle.  Everything checked OK.

Officer responded to Git-N-Go regarding a found cat that matched a “lost pet poster” that was placed inside the business.  The owner of the animal did not answer their phone when called and a resident agreed to take the animal to their residence and look after it until the owners called back to pick up the animal.


Officer was called to the 900 Block of South State Street for a suspicious letter the homeowner received the day before.  Everything checked out OK.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference information on a conceal carry permit.

Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue with an emergency medical call in the 500 Block of Milwaukee Street.

Officer assisted a Federal Agent with a back-ground check on a former Madrid resident.

Officer received a call regarding a suspicious person on their property after dark.  The subject confronted a resident then ran through the neighborhood as officers were arriving.  Officer was unable to locate the subject.  Officer spoke to several individuals whom provided a possible name of the individual.


Officer was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at Edgewood Park. Vehicle was gone upon the officer’s arrival and no further description was received except a truck.  Officer found no damage to property.

Officer met with a Madrid resident and spoke about a past case from the late 90’s.  Officer will attempt to do some follow up on the case and report back to the resident.

Officer met with a Madrid resident reference a Craigslist deal that had gone bad in another City.

Officer stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of West North St.  The driver was advised for improper tail lamps.

Officer followed up with several subjects regarding a previous call of a suspicious person whom was seen on several individual’s property late at night.

Officer was called to a disturbance at a residence regarding a juvenile male.  It was determined the juvenile was wanted for running away from a juvenile facility out of the area.  Officer coordinated with DHS and arranged a transport for the juvenile to another facility in Iowa where he was remanded.


Officer picked up a juvenile on a pick-up order.  Officer turned the juvenile over to DHS for placement and transport.

Officer was called to the Madrid High School for an animal at large.  Officer was unable to locate.

Officer responded to the 500 Block of East 6th for a family argument.  Officer made contact with the subjects and found it to be a verbal argument between family members celebrating Thanksgiving.  The upset family member had already left the residence.  Officer spoke to him via a phone call and advised him not to return to the residence.


Officer responded to Casey’s for a vehicle unlock.

Officer performed a vehicle unlock at the Market of Madrid.




Officer responded to 600 block of W. Fifth St.  for an unattended death.  Officer assisted BCH and Madrid Rescue and conducted an investigation at the residence.
