11/12/18

Officer assisted with traffic control on S. Kennedy Dr. for a stalled vehicle.

Officer directed traffic for a funeral procession.

11/13/18

Officer spoke to Casey’s Staff reference a gas drive off from last night.  A subject used her loyalty card at the pumps and a name was received off of it.  Officer located the subject who returned and paid for the fuel.

Officer filled (2) records requests made by Madrid residents.

Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue on a medical call in the 900 Block of South Kennedy Avenue, after a subject fell.

Officer received a complaint of a tree service parked on Highway 210 blocking traffic, just West of the stop light.  Officer asked the subject to move, in which he did.

Officer was dispatched to the 500 Block of West 5th for a possible theft.  Officer spoke to all family members involved. It was found that it was loaned to another family member.  Subject will call back if it’s not located by tomorrow.

Officer followed up with a subject regarding a past complaint of harassing messages sent to them.

Officer received a complaint of harassing messages being sent from an out of town subject.  Officer made contact with the subject whom agreed to stop contacting the party.

Officer received a parking complaint of a vehicle blocking the alley in the 100 block of E. 1st Street.  Officer made contact with the vehicle owners whom stated they will make sure to not block the alley in the future.

11/14/18

Officer finger printed a Boone resident, for a job-related background check, for the Post Office.

Officer followed up with a Madrid resident, after getting information from an Assistant Boone County Attorney, on a past case.

Officer went to Boone to Lindy’s and picked up handgun duty ammo that was ordered after qualifications.

Officer responded to a dispute.  It was determined to be a verbal argument, one of the parties left for the evening.

Officer spoke to an individual regarding a suspicious person seen on their property earlier in the day.

11/15/18

Officer was dispatched to a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed southbound on Highway 17.  Officer located the vehicle and performed a traffic stop and 1st and Water.  Officer warned the driver after speaking with him.

Officer received a call of goats out on the roadway just South of town on Highway 17.  Officer located the animals and pushed them back off the roadway.  Owners were not home.  Officer had dispatch notify Dallas County so they could call the owners and give notification.

Officer spoke to elementary school staff reference the upcoming Shop with a Cop program.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference some family issues that they were having.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference two dogs running at large.  When the owners caught them, the caller stated that he was beating the animals.  Officer spoke to the owner who admitted the dogs got away and that he disciplined them.  The owner bought a new harness and rope to fix the problem.

Officer met with citizens and handed out fire extinguishers for the new fire safety program with the Fire Department.

Officer assisted Madrid Automotive with an insufficient check case.

Officer met with Madrid residents and handed out fire extinguishers for the new safety program with the Fire Department.

Officer performed a vehicle unlock in the 200 Block of South Kennedy Avenue.

11/17/18

Officer was dispatched to a report of a vehicle backing into another in the 500 block of E. 6th street causing damage.  The victim requested the parties to handle the damage between them.

Officer was dispatched to a juvenile having a dispute with family members.  Officer spoke to all parties involved and advised.
