Officer unlocked a vehicle for a resident on Jonathon Drive.

Officer assisted rescue and ambulance with a medical call.


Officer assisted Boone Co. with a stranded motorist on Hwy 210 east of Madrid.

Officer spoke to a resident of Green Street Apts. that was disposing of waste oil down the storm sewer.

Officers assisted Boone Co. on a disturbance on 229th Lane.

Officer spoke to a subject regarding an abandoned vehicle.  Officer will make contact with the owner for removal.

Officer spoke to several businesses and posted flyers regarding the DEA sponsored Drug Take Back Day.  Please note Saturday April 28th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. you can drop off old or unwanted medications at the Madrid Police Department for secure disposal by the DEA.


Officer assisted Madrid Rescue/Boone Co. Ambulance with an emergent medical in the 100 block of W. First St.

Officer stopped a Semi on S. Kennedy that had a large amount of smoke coming off the brakes.

Officer spoke to a subject regarding a phone scam.  Officer advised.

Officer spoke to staff at the Elementary School whom reported a suspicious person on school grounds earlier in the day.  Officer made contact with the subject and everything checked OK.

Officer received a call from a resident regarding a lift assist with an individual whom needed assistance back into their wheelchair.

Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of S. Kennedy.  The driver was warned for speed.

Officer stopped a vehicle at NW Madrid Drive and Hwy 17.  The driver was warned for improper rear lamps.


Officer assisted the City of Boone with locating a Madrid resident that was involved in an accident in Boone.

Officer assisted BCSO with possible shots fired.  Unable to locate.  


Officer responded to the 200 Block of South State St for a harassment complaint.  Suspect was advised to discontinue contact per the complainant.

Officer responded to the 600 Block of Maverick Lane for a harassment complaint.  Officer spoke with subject.

Officer responded to a report of an erratic driver. Officer located and stopped the vehicle. The driver was found to be OK, just exhausted from work.


Officer assisted rescue and ambulance with a medical call at the Milwaukee apartments.


Officer received a call from Ankeny PD in reference to a gas drive-off from their city by a Madrid resident.  Officer attempted to make contact numerous times but was unable to do so.

Officer responded to Maverick Lane reference a subject parking in the fire lane.  Officer made contact with the male and asked him to move the car into an empty spot in the driveway.

Officer stopped a juvenile driver near 300th and Highway 17 after witnessing the vehicle traveling at 83 in a 45 zone near the Evangelical Free Church. Officer cited the young man for speeding and issued warnings for excessive speed in the 35 MPH and 55 MPH zones.
