Officer was called to the 400 Block of West 5th Street, for an unwanted subject at the residence. Officer escorted the subject off the property and will be contacting the Boone County Attorney reference possible charges on the subject due to his actions.
Officer received a call of a found bike. Officer took the bike to the City Shed to be claimed.
Officer spoke to a Madrid business owner reference two junk vehicles in the downtown area.
Officer started an investigation after receiving a report of an assault at the VFW.
Officer was dispatched to a vehicle that was Southbound on Highway 17. The caller stated that the vehicle was all over the road on Highway 30 but no other Officers were in position. Officer stopped the vehicle at North Kennedy and Peterson Parkway, and found nothing wrong with the driver.

Officer finger printed a Madrid resident for a Class III weapon purchase background check.
Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, with taking a Madrid resident into custody for a court ordered committal.
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of Hwy 17. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.
Officer tagged a vehicle with a warning at 2nd and Water street for a parking violation.
Officer sent requested information regarding a past case to the County Attorney’s Office.
Officer assisted a Madrid resident and had two junk vehicles removed from the 100 Block of South Main Street. The City will be starting on getting junk vehicles removed from the City again soon by serving ordinance violation notices. Please contact the Chief of Police if you need one removed.
Officer took (2) scam call complaints where the caller claimed to be the IRS. Reminder that the IRS will never call your phone. If you receive a call that claims that they are with the IRS it is a scam and just hang up.
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of East North Street. The driver was warned for excessive speed.
Officer spoke to a subject in town regarding drug activity whom shared information regarding several subjects involved.

Officer was dispatched to call an Agent with DCI reference needing information on a past case dealing with a stolen firearm.
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 300 block of E. 2nd Street. The driver was warned for improper headlamps.
Officer was notified of a dog at large in the 900 block of S. Kennedy. The owner was located and the dog was returned. The owner was warned for have a dog running within the city at large.
Officer arrested a Dawn Kruger from 502 Milwaukee Street #7 for a Dallas County warrant.
Officer responded to the Madrid Museum for an alarm. Set off by an employee.
Officer checked on vehicle parked on S. Second Street that had not been moved in a while.
Officer responded to 700 block of W. North Street for a dog at large. Dog was picked up and eventually released to its owner.
Officer assisted Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Madrid Rescue with a single vehicle accident just South of Madrid on Highway 17. Officer assisted the Madrid resident in contacting her husband and passing along information to family.
Officer located a down tree from the past storm in the area of 6th and S. Union Street. The city and property owner were notified and the tree was removed.
Officer unlocked a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Locust Street.

Officer received a call of subjects trespassing in the city dump and shooting rifles. The subjects and vehicle were gone upon officer’s arrival.

Officer responded to a report of a civil domestic situation. Officer followed up with the other half at the VFW Bar and assisted in resolving the dispute between the couple.
