Officer performed a vehicle unlock in the 300 Block of S Kennedy Avenue.
Officer spoke to the owner of (2) junk vehicles served in the 500 Block of S Main Street. Owner stated that one would be picked up by Teen Challenge this week and the other was going to be given to a family member.
Officer was dispatched to a medical call in the 500 Block of Milwaukee Street.
Officer picked up some equipment left at a medical call last night, at a Madrid residence.
Officer assisted a Madrid resident that had their mower stuck in a ditch.
Officer followed up with DHS, and performed an interview with a subject on an on-going case.
Officer responded to a Fire Alarm at the Madrid Home. As the Officer arrived, he was notified by dispatch that it was a false alarm.
Officer received a call regarding a burglary. Officer took a report from the subjects and will follow up with suspect information given.
Officer met with a Madrid resident, who shared information on a current situation, dealing with a divorce and possible future safety issues.
Officer assisted Polk County Sheriff’s Office with a two-vehicle accident South of town on Highway 17.
Officer received a complaint of a large junk pile on the county property on East 3rd Street.
Officer spoke to an owner of a junk vehicle on West 1st Street. Officer will follow up with them next week.
Officer received a complaint of a careless driver on West 1st Street.
Officer performed a vehicle unlock in the 700 Block of East 2nd Street.
Officer responded to Newton Rd. and took possession of drug paraphernalia that was found.
Officer stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of S. Kennedy for a vehicle equipment not operating properly. Officer advised the driver of the issue and was agreed to have it fixed.
Officer returned a set of lost/found motorcycle keys to their rightful owner.
Officer assisted a subject in the 200 block of S. Kennedy with a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Officer had the vehicle towed to the owner’s residence at their request and provided traffic control.
Officer unlocked a vehicle for a subject.
Officer was dispatched along with Madrid Fire to a riding lawn mower on fire at a residence. The fire was extinguished. The lawn mower was a total loss.

Officer assisted a family member from the above medical call, by following her home to drop the patient’s vehicle off, and giving them a ride back to a downtown business.

Officer responded to E. 21st Street reference a child custody exchange issue.
Officer responded to Gerald street reference unwanted house guests.

Officer responded to a downtown apartment building reference a suspicious item found in the hallway and a stolen welcome mat.
Officer responded to the high school for an alarm, found to be false.
