Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference a mail scam that he received.   No personal information was exchanged so the material was just thrown away.

Officer received a call from a Perry resident reference issues with her mother.  Officer informed them that since she lived in Perry any information would have to be received from that department.

Officer returned a call to a Madrid resident reference a civil issue dealing with his son and property.  Subject will call back later in the week for a civil stand-by.

Officer returned a call to a subject reference being finger printed for a job-related background check.  Subject came to the office for this service.


Officer assisted Madrid Rescue/Boone Co. Ambulance with a medical call in the 900 block of S. Kennedy.

Officer was dispatched to 917 S Kennedy for a suspicious person outside the residence, owners of the residence gave chase but could not catch suspect.

Officer was informed of possible solicitation without permit in the city, unable to locate anyone.


Officer was dispatched to a suspicious male at Edgewood Park.  Subject was gone upon the officer’s arrival but was able to identify the subject by the description given.

Officer took a report of a stolen vehicle on Southern Prairie Drive.

Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue on an emergency medical call in the 800 block of South State Street.

Officer received a request from an insurance company for a past accident report.  Officer sent a copy of it after receiving payment.

Officer received a call of a subject entering a residence on West 8th Street.  The residence is in the County so they were informed to contact the Sheriff’s Office.  Officer made contact with a possible suspect at Edgewood Park and spoke to him until deputies arrived.  The subject was released to his mother.

Officer received a call of the same individual from the last call, yelling at a female out the window after he was picked up.  Officer explained that he was worked up from the last call.  Caller requested extra patrol due to being scared of the subject.

Officer performed a traffic stop after a vehicle stopped on Highway 17, to allow bikes to cross, almost causing a multiple car accident.  Officer warned the out of town driver of the infraction.  Officer then sat on the trail and yelled at several other cars to proceed after attempting to stop to allow bikes to cross.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident that has a storage unit in town, after he found his lock had been tampered with.  No entry had been made.  Officer will give the area extra patrol.

Officer responded to a civil dispute, everything turned out to be fine.

Officer received a call of possible water main break.  Officer observed some water on the road but not enough to equate to a water main break.

Officer assisted with a medical call on 9th St.

Officer received notice from DMPD the stolen truck from last night had been recovered in their jurisdiction.


Officer assisted a Madrid woman and her children after they got stranded on the bike trail just outside of town.

Officer responded to the city parking at the trail head for a vehicle unlock.

Officer received a complaint of fireworks being shot off every evening on the north side of town.

Officer received a complaint of a resident disputing the sale of a motorcycle.  Officer advised the issue was of civil nature and referred the resident to appropriate resources.

Officer responded to the 1800 block of 330th for a business alarm, outside the city limits.  Officer was requested by Boone County dispatch for mutual aid for BCSO.

Officer responded to the area of 100 block of North Water Street for a gas leak caused by construction workers.  Officer assisted in evacuating the area and kept scene clear until the issue was fixed.

Officer responded to the 100 Block of North Water for a gas leak.  Officer evacuated residents on the block and maintained perimeter until issue was resolved.

Officer responded to the Madrid Elementary School for a report of children on the roof.  Officer gained access to the roof.  No children were located.


Officer assisted with a vehicle unlock on W. 1st Street.

Officer responded to Dollar General for a shoplifting report.


Officer assisted with a medical call on Fairview Dr.

Officer unlocked a vehicle.

Officer responded to a parking complaint at 6th and State.

Officer responded to the 700 block of West 7th for fireworks.  City ordinance was explained to resident.

Officer responded to the 200 Block of West 7th Street, for a report of loud music.  Officer made contact and the music was turned off.

Officer responded to the 700 Block of E Second for a medical call.  Officer rendered first aid until EMS arrived.


Officer assisted with medical call at the Madrid gravel pits.

Officer picked up wanted subject from Dallas County.

Officer received a call from a subject who wasn’t sure where she was but had just hit a young deer, she wanted someone to look at the deer and possibly dispatch the animal, officer checked local area and could not find female or the deer.
