Officer returned a phone call to the owner of a company vehicle that was involved in an accident in the City last week.

Officer emailed information with the Boone County Attorney’s Office in reference to an up-coming court case on a charge of domestic abuse assault.

Officer was notified of a guilty verdict from a court case last week that charged a subject with violation of a domestic related no-contact order.

Officer spoke to a property owner of a vacant lot at 21st and Market in reference to giving it extra patrol after he found some items moved upon his property.

Officer received information on a case in the County from a Madrid resident.  Officer passed the information on to a detective with the sheriff’s office.


Officer sent a detective from the sheriff’s office updated information on a case received from a Madrid resident.

Officer received a complaint of a black Tahoe driving reckless in the 600 Block of Maverick Lane.  Officer was unable to locate the vehicle but will be on the lookout.

Officer spoke to school staff reference an on-going case and shared information.


Officer was dispatched to the Madrid Home for a general fire alarm.  Officer arrived and found it to be a false alarm and asked dispatch to disregard all other responding units.

Officer was dispatched to the 100 Block of County Line Road for a verbal domestic situation.  Officer arrested Raymond Svaleson III for criminal mischief 5th.  He was cited and released from the Madrid Police Department.

Officer was dispatched to a second fire alarm at the Madrid Home.  Turned out to be another false alarm caused by a dishwasher.

Officer met with personnel, from the company that installed all the new radios, who did repairs/updates on all police radios.

Officer responded to the 600 Block Kingman for a medical call.  Officer assisted Fire/EMS.

Officer responded to the 200 block of South Main Street for a barking dog complaint.  Officer made contact with the owner.  Owner moved the dog inside.

Officer responded to a report of an injured deer on the roadway at the intersection of Hwy 17 and 158th Ave.  Officer was unable to locate the deer.


Officer received a report of a gas drive-off from Casey’s.  Officer located the vehicle and subject and they returned and paid for their gas.

Officer received a report of two tan/white Huskies running loose.  Officer located them but was unable to catch them.  Officer put pictures on social media and a resident was able to catch them and the owner’s saw the post and picked the dogs.


Officer notified several residents about the snow ordinance and had them move their vehicles from the streets so that they could be plowed.

Officer assisted Madrid EMS/Boone Co. Ambulance on a medical call in the 900 block of S. Kennedy.


Officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 600 block of South Kennedy

Officer responded to a medical call at the Cedars.  Officer provided assistance to EMS.

Officer responded to a medical call in the 200 block of East North Street.  Officer provided assistance to EMS.

Officer responded to 900 block of South Kennedy for a vehicle unlock.


Officer performed a traffic stop on 22nd street for faulty equipment. Driver was warned for the infraction.
