Officer was dispatched to the 900 Block of South Kennedy Ave, for a vehicle parked on a neighbor’s property, that they wanted moved.  Owner immediately removed the vehicle from the neighbor’s driveway.

Officer was called to the City Shed by Madrid street employees for a dog that wondered into the shop.  Officer was able to return the animal to its owner, due to it being registered with the City.

Officer assisted Boone County and checked on all sirens in the City, working on the new radio system that is being installed.

Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference fraudulent spending on her credit card.

Officer returned a call to a federal background investigator, and shared information about two past Madrid residents.

Officer met with post office staff, who turned in a lost/found wallet left at the business.  Officer returned the wallet to the rightful owner.

Officer received a call from a street department worker, reference a young female walking West on Highway 210.  Officer checked on the 12-year-old female who was walking home to the Reddish Addition.  Officer gave her a ride due to distance and amount of traffic.

Officer spoke to an insurance investigator, working on a case, who exchanged information.

Officer responded to a juvenile welfare check.  All children were safe.

Officer responded to the 600 Block of South Union for a bat in the home.  Officer provided assistance.

Officer returned a phone call to a parent of a Madrid juvenile, reference issues going on in Madrid.

Officer was dispatched to a firm alarm at the Madrid Home.  Officer arrived and found it to be a false alarm.

Officer was dispatched to an open line 911 call.  Caller was moving around City streets in a vehicle.  Officer was able to locate the caller and found it to be an accidental dial.

Officer finger printed a Madrid resident for a job related back-ground check.

Officer spoke to two property owners downtown again, reference clean-up on city property, getting ready for the annual Labor Day Celebration.

Officer responded to 100 block East 2nd for a medical assist.  Officer assisted EMS.

Officer arrested Jake Shaw on valid Polk County warrants and transported him to the Des Moines river bridge to meet Polk County Deputy and transfer custody.

Officer responded to 400 Block of East 1st for an emergency medical call.  Officer assisted EMS.

Officer responded to the Madrid Market for a vehicle unlock.  Successfully unlocked.

Officer picked up a subject on a Madrid PD warrant at the Dallas Co. Jail and transported to the Boone Co. Jail.

Officer responded to the Meadow Estates park reference suspicious activity.

Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of S. State Street reference an animal at large. The dog’s owner came to pick up the dog.
Officer spoke with detective from DMPD looking for a believed resident of Madrid, subject had made terroristic threats on Facebook.

Officer asked Madrid resident to move vehicle to allow road workers better access.

Officer responded to a parking complaint in the cul-de-sac off Southern Prairie Dr.  Semi parked in the circle area.  Semi was moved by driver.
Officer recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen from Madrid.  Items were collected from the vehicle as evidence and the vehicle was then turned over to the owner.

Officer picked up lost wallet from the Market of Madrid.

Officer provided traffic control for a stalled motorist on S. Kennedy Drive.

Officer responded to the Madrid Home for a vehicle unlock.  Successfully unlocked.

Officer fingerprinted medical applicant.
