Officer forwarded a copy of a past accident report, to an insurance company, after receiving a request and payment for the information.

Officer spoke to a county resident reference issues she is having with a civil divorce.  Officer informed the subject to contact the sheriff’s office, to give them information for a call for service and to request a civil stand-by.

Officer provided security for a meeting with city staff members and both the great Governor and Lt. Governor, of our great State.

Officer was dispatched to a subject screaming and yelling, from inside his garage, at 5th and Main.  Officer made contact with the male who stated that everything was OK.  Officer contacted the subject’s mother, who was on her way home.

Officer responded to the 200 block of E 3rd for a theft report.

Officer responded to the 200 block of South Kennedy for a motor vehicle accident.

Officer responded to the 200 block of N Main for a report of a suspicious vehicle.  Officer made contact with the vehicle.  Driver was picking up belongings from her friend’s house.

Officer responded to Highway 17 in front of Dollar General.  Shopping carts had been placed on the highway, blocking traffic.  Officer removed carts from the roadway and returned them to the Dollar General parking lot.


Officer spoke to a Boone County deputy, reference a case that occurred in the county, but the subjects stopped at a business in the City.  Officer gave him information about a local business.

Officer spoke to a subject, reference a civil issue dealing with property at his apartment that he was moving out of, in the city.  After speaking with the other half of the complaint, along with the landlord, much more information was found out.  Officer returned a call to the original complainant and informed him that he needed to contact an attorney for any of the joint property that he stated he felt was owed to him, due to it being all a civil issue.


Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East North Street, for an incomplete 911 call.  Officer checked the residence and did not find anyone home.  The phone line was down due to a large tree on the roof of the house, so it appeared to be phone issues.

Officer performed a background check on a Madrid subject for a military/government check.

Officer performed a traffic stop south of Dollar General on Highway 17.

Officer checked on a male walking along Highway 210, he was ok just walking to Ames for a job interview.


Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue, on an emergency medical call, in the 400 block of Fairview Drive.  Patient was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.

Officer was dispatched to a juvenile, riding an ATV recklessly, on West 8th Street.  Officer made contact with the juvenile and informed him that the ATV must stay on his parent’s property and could not be ridden on the roadway.

Officer received a call of a vehicle with a vulgar message written on it, on West 2nd Street.  Officer located a vehicle parked on private property with a Trump flag displayed on it, nothing illegal or vulgar.

Officer performed a traffic stop at 6th and South Kennedy.  Officer warned the driver for stopping on the traveled portion.

Officer arrested a male at County Line trailer park for domestic abuse assault

Officer performed a vehicle unlock for a Madrid resident.


Officer responded to the 600 block of S. Water St. reference a neighbor dispute over a trampoline that was taken by the storm. The owner agreed to remove it from their neighbor’s yard.

Officer assisted a tree service with traffic control on W. 1st St while they fell a tree across the roadway.

Officer received a report of a down power line on S. 5th St. Officer notified the power company.


Officer fingerprinted a woman for a job-related background check.


Officer was advised of a subject possibly not having children secured properly in a car.  Vehicle left Boone enroute towards Madrid.  Officer made contact with driver.  Children were secured properly in vehicle.

Officer responded to 600 block of South Market to locate a subject for Johnston PD.  Subject was located and advised to contact Johnston PD in regards to a possible hit and run in Polk County.  Subject contacted Johnston PD.

Officer responded to the area of Southern Prairie Dr and South Main in attempt to locate a stolen vehicle for Ankeny PD.  Officer located vehicle, unattended.  Vehicle was recovered by registered owner.
