Officer spoke to a Madrid resident reference an ongoing case.

Officer followed up with a subject from out of town regarding information of a past burglary case.

Officer assisted a resident with finding their lost keys to their vehicle in the area of 3rd and Water Street.  The keys were located and returned to their owner.


Officer received a call of a lost wallet at the trail head.  Officer received the caller’s contact info for if the item is found.

Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue on a medical call in the 500 Block of Milwaukee Street.

Officer spoke to a subject on an on-going criminal case and set up an interview for tomorrow morning.

Officer assisted Boone County Deputies in searching for a vehicle involved in an apparent domestic assault in progress between Madrid and Luther on Highway 17.

Officer responded to the 100 block of N. Union reference a dog at large. The owner picked up the animal.


Officer was called to North State St. reference a barking dog. The owner of the dogs was notified of the complaint and agreed to get quiet them down for the night.

Officer followed up on a past case and interviewed a subject.  Officer will put everything together for the case and send it up to the Boone County Attorney for review.

Officer was dispatched to assist Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a vehicle all over the road Southbound on Highway 17.  Officer located the vehicle in a driveway in town.  Officer made contact with the subject who stated that she was having mechanical issues.  Her father advised that he would have the vehicle looked at.

Officer received a call from Parks Department informing Officers of a contractor’s trailer that will be parked at Edgewood over the weekend.  Officer will give the area extra patrol.

Officer took a complaint from an employee of Git n Go reference an unhappy customer in the store. Officer will follow up with store management to determined what they would like done.

Officer responded to the Green St. apartments reference suspicious activity involving several juvenile males.

Officer responded to attempt to locate two dogs seen running loose on Dalander Street. Officer was unable to locate the animals.

Officer took a report of juvenile males making inappropriate comments to other children and causing damage to the equipment on the West side of the elementary playground. It was determined that the young men involved were the same group from an earlier suspicious activity call. Officer spoke with all the subject’s parents and issued a citation to a Woodward youth that was driving the vehicle involved on a restricted school permit.

Officer followed up with a woman refence a sexual assault awareness event she trying to organize in Madrid. Officer provided information last week on what organizations and whom to speak with that could assist and wanted to check on her progress.

Officer answered questions about firearms, home defense solutions, and recent changes to the applicable stand your ground laws of this state to a concerned resident.


Officer responded downtown reference an unconscious male on the ground. Medical was called to check on the unresponsive male.


Officer responded to a fire alarm in the 900 Block of South State Street.  False alarm Fire/Rescue was disregarded.

Officer received several complaints of possible scam involving the sale of Casey’s Promo/Fundraiser cards.  Officer received information that possible vehicle entered Maverick Ln.  Officer located vehicle and several individuals.  Officer seized the remaining cards and monies received from sales.  Incident remains under investigation.

Officer assisted Madrid EMS/Boone Co. Ambulance on an emergent medical in the 900 block of South Kennedy.
