Friends of the Madrid Public Library: Friends of the Library is a nonprofit advocacy organization which supports the Library. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the community.

Iowa Arboretum: The Arboretum is a library of living plants found in Iowa and is  located a short distance north of Madrid. The Arboretum flourishes because of volunteer support, which is needed for the gift shop, helping with events, leading tours, and maintaining gardens. Learn more on the Arboretum’s website.

Madrid Area Chamber of Commerce (MAC) – meetings are 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month (7AM @ The Cedars) (except in June, July & August-1st Wednesdays only)

Madrid Garden Club – Everyone is welcome to attend any of the Garden Club meetings.The Club meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00 pm. andl meetings are held at the St John’s Lutheran Church (unless otherwise stated.). Madrid Heritage Quilters – The Madrid Heritage Quilters was formed in 1983 by five members to commemorate Madrid’s Centennial Celebration. Our purpose for organizing was to share the art or and love for quilting. Our experience levels are from novice to expert. We learn from each other as we work together on a club quilt, at classes and workshops, and during meetings.
Meetings are the first Saturday of the month at The Cedars – 795-3219
