Are you at home wishing you had a book to read or a movie to watch? We are standing by at the Madrid Public Library to take your order! Beginning May 11th, we will be offering materials for curbside pickup. Just call the library at 795-3846 and we will gather the items together for you. Or make your reserves online through the library website. Don’t know how to reserve online? Give us a call Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and we will walk you through it or email Angie at firstname.lastname@example.org
Reservations for items made by 4 pm on Mondays will be available for pickup on Tuesdays from 12 pm to 6 pm. Reservations made by 4 pm on Wednesdays will be available to pick up on Thursday from 12 pm to 6 pm and on Friday from 12pm to 4 pm.
Reserves made online will be confirmed with a phone call from library staff. Pick up times will not be available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Library staff will follow safe handling procedures throughout the entire process of filling your order. Orders will be put in bags-marked and placed on a table outside weather permitting. In inclement weather tables will be in the library lobby. We are asking that patrons use social distancing guidelines when picking up items. Social distancing marks have been placed on the sidewalk if multiple patrons are picking up items or feel free to wait in your vehicle. You can help us by spreading the word that books and movies and other items are available at the library.
This is our first step in reopening the library. We miss seeing you and hope it’s not too long before we can reopen our doors. Thanks for your patience and understanding, please take care of yourselves and each other until we see you again.
