MPD Blotter Feb 12 – Feb 18, 2018



Officer assisted Madrid Fire/Rescue on an emergency medical call in the 300 Block of North Locust Street.

Officer returned a call reference a lost wallet. Officer attempted to assist in them locating the item.  The owners ended up finding it at a local store.

Officer received a call of an open door in the 300 Block of North Main Street.  Officer did a call for service and was able to secure the door.

Officer was called to the 600 Block of South Kennedy Avenue for an attempted burglary report.

Officer spoke to a subject regarding a trespassing complaint.

Officer followed up with a resident reference a past assault report.

Officer assisted a motorist whom ran out of fuel on Hwy 17.


Officer located a Madrid resident for a church group from Texas and delivered a message to her about a family member.

Officer assisted a vehicle that was stuck in the snow at the cemetery just West on Highway 210.

Officer took a damage report to a building from a snow removal vehicle from this past snow storm.


Officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a personal injury traffic accident North of town on Highway 17.

Officer followed up with a juvenile and parent regarding a past assault report.

Officer spoke to a subject and updated him on new information regarding a fraud report made previously. 


Officer responded to the Elementary School in reference to a suspicious phone call.

Officer spoke to a resident in reference to an earlier assault that took place.

Officer fingerprinted a resident for an employment background check.

Officer spoke to a resident about a phone call she received which turned out to be a phone scam.

Officer took a complaint of a subject driving through an alley blocked off with traffic cones by officials. Officer spoke with the male suspected of driving through the alley, he agreed to not drive through anymore.


Officer finger printed a Madrid resident for a job related back ground check.

Officer met with the School Superintendent and shared updates and information on School Emergency Policy.

Officer was dispatched to a vehicle all over the road, called in by an off duty State Patrol Officer.  Officer stopped the vehicle at 22nd and North Kennedy.  The passenger, Minnie Harper, was found to have a valid Boone County Warrant for probation revocation.  The Officer also located a glass pipe and charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia.  The female was transported to the Boone County Jail where she was held.

Officer assisted with a funeral procession through town.

Officer followed up with information regarding a past identity theft case and forwarded new information to another state agency where the suspect has been verified to be.


Officer responded to an erratic driver. Vehicle was stopped and driver was found to be OK, just distracted.

Officer assisted a motorist with a flat tire at Casey’s.  


Officer spoke to a resident about a missing dog.

Resident came into the PD and advised that they had a dog at their residence that was running at large.  The dog matched the description of the above call.  Office contacted the owner of the missing dog and they went and picked up their dog from a residence in the 300 block of E. Third St.

Officer responded to an assault in progress in the 100 block of E. 9th Street.  A Thaddeus Keller was arrested from that residence and charged with a simple misdemeanor domestic assault.

Officer assisted a parent having trouble with her 13 year old son who thought it was ok to hit his mom and sisters.
