E 6th Street Road Work

Beginning Tuesday, September 25th, construction on E 6th Street will begin.  There will be NO ACCESS to E 6th Street from Highway 17 for the duration of the project (approximately two weeks).  The project will begin with the milling (shaving) of E 6th from Hwy 17 to S. State St.  There will be limited access to properties along E 6th during the process.  If possible, please use alternate routes and side-street parking between 7:30AM and 5:00PM.

When paving begins, approximately Saturday, September 29, stay off the new pavement surfaces.  The South side of E 6th will be paved first and re-opened Monday, October 1, and then the North side of E 6th will be paved.  As each side of the road is paved, there will be NO ACCESS to driveways on the newly paved portion of road until that side is re-opened, approximately 48 hours.  Alternate side-street parking will need to be utilized on those paving days by E. 6th residents.

There will be NO PARKING on E 6th Street (curbline to curbline) during the duration of this project.

We appreciate your patience while we repair the road!
